Karnataka NEET AYUSH Counselling 2024: Counseling Schedule for Stray Vacancy Round Released

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced multiple updates for NEET UG AYUSH Counselling 2024. These updates include a special provision for online registration following the lowering of qualifying percentiles, as well as the schedule for the second stray vacancy round for Ayurveda, Unani, and Homoeopathy courses.The registration process for Second Stray Round will be open till November 28, 2024, 11:59 PM.

Lowering of Qualifying Percentile for AYUSH Admissions

The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has reduced the qualifying percentile for UG AYUSH courses by 15 percentile across all categories. This decision has enabled more candidates to become eligible for admissions.

• Online Registration Period: November 26–28, 2024 (until 11:59 PM)
• Who Can Register:
  • Candidates newly eligible due to the revised cut-off.
  • Previously eligible candidates who missed earlier registrations.
• Registration Process:

  Applicants must fill out the common online application, submit documents, and pay the registration fee via KEA’s official website (kea.kar.nic.in).

Newly registered candidates must download the online verification slip after 3:00 PM on November 29, 2024, to proceed further.

Essential Documents for Registration

Candidates must prepare the following documents in the required format before applying:

1. 10th and 12th Marks Cards (for entering registration numbers and dates of birth).
2. Reservation Certificates: RD Number, caste, income, non-creamy layer, Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) certificates (if applicable).
3. Recent passport-size photograph (JPEG, max. 50 KB).
4. Candidate's signature (JPEG, max. 50 KB).
5. Left-hand thumb impression (JPEG, max. 50 KB).

Important Notes for Candidates

• Fees Payment: Candidates allotted a seat must pay the prescribed fee within the timeline to confirm admission.
• Admission Orders: After fee payment, candidates must download the admission order and report to their allotted college with original documents and attested photocopies.
• Eligibility for Reserved Categories: SC/ST/OBC criteria are applicable only to Karnataka domicile candidates.
