JNU PhD Admission 2023 Open for International Students; Apply till Nov 15

New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University has begun the application process for its PhD program for the academic session 2024-25 for international candidates under the Absentia category. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @jnu.ac.in.

The Ph.D. programs offered at JNU cover six specializations, including Systems Medicine, National Security, Microsystems, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication. Aspiring candidates looking to join these programs can apply until November 15, 2023.

Admission to the JNU PhD program in 2023 will involve assessment based on written exam scores, followed by viva voca and personal interviews.

JNU PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the requisite eligibility criteria to be eligible for PhD Admission.

 Candidates must hold a Master's degree in the specific fields such as Political Science, History, Economics, International Relations, and Area Studies, with a minimum of 50% marks,

or a Master's degree in Humanities and other Social Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks,

or a Master's degree in Natural Sciences with a minimum of 65% marks.

Candidates' final selection for admission to the doctoral programs is determined by their relative merit within their respective categories. This assessment considers their performance in the written examination, in the viva voce (wherever it is required), and incorporates Deprivation Points, if applicable.

JNU PhD Admission 2023: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Christ University @https://www.jnu.ac.in/. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
