INI-SS January 2025 Session: Open Round of Online Seat Allocation Begins

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released an important update regarding the Open Round of Online Seat Allocation for the Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty (INI-SS) Entrance Examination for the January 2025 session. Candidates can now exercise their choices online until February 18, 2025 (Tuesday) at 5:00 PM.

In continuation of Notice No. 124/2024, AIIMS has announced additional seats in certain specialties at JIPMER and AIIMS Bhubaneswar. The details are as follows:

The Open Round for Institute allocation will follow the timeline below:

Eligibility Criteria for Open Round

• Candidates who appeared in INI-SS January 2025 session on October 25, 2024, and scored 50% or above are eligible to participate.
• Candidates must be in the AIIMS Merit List (AML & CML) for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS.
• Candidates holding a seat from previous rounds are not eligible.
• Sponsored & Foreign National candidates can also participate.
• Unfilled MD (Hospital Administration) seats will be converted as follows:
• EWS to UR
• OBC to UR
• ST to SC (and then to UR if unfilled)
• SC to ST (and then to UR if unfilled)

Registration & Payment Requirements

• Candidates must register on www.aiimsexams.ac.in under the "Online Seat Allocation" link.
• Those who participated in previous counseling rounds may use existing login credentials, while new participants must create a new login.
• A refundable deposit of INR 3,00,000 is mandatory for Open Round counseling, payable via RTGS/NEFT to AIIMS New Delhi.
• Payment details and a canceled cheque must be uploaded on the portal.
• Candidates who fail to register, submit the deposit, or upload payment proof will not be considered.

Important Instructions

• Candidates can fill choices for any institute listed before Round 1, irrespective of vacancies in the Open Round.
• Any updates, corrigendums, or notifications will be published only on www.aiimsexams.ac.in.
• Candidates are advised to complete their registration and choice selection before the deadline to secure their preferred seats.
