The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the results for the 2nd round of online seat allocation for the Institute of National Importance Super Specialty (INI-SS) January 2025 session. This round pertains to admissions in DM, M.Ch, and MD (Hospital Administration) courses at AIIMS (New Delhi and other branches), PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST. INI SS 2025 Counselling

Key Dates and Reporting Details
Candidates must report to their allocated institutes with the required documents or security deposit as per the following schedule:

Failure to comply with the deadlines will result in cancellation of the seat.
Options for Candidates Post-Allotment
Candidates must select one of the following options for INI SS January 2025 via the online portal from January 17, 2025, to January 23, 2025:
Accept Allotted Seat and Do Not Participate in Further Rounds
- Candidates choosing this option must report to the allocated institute with the required documents and a security deposit of ₹3,00,000 in the form of a demand draft (DD) payable to “AIIMS Main Grant Account.”
- Failure to report by the deadline will lead to cancellation of the admission.
Accept Allotted Seat and Participate in the 3rd Round
- Candidates opting for this must report to the allocated institute and submit the required documents or DD.
- If upgraded in the 3rd round, the candidate must join the new institute; failure to do so will result in a penalty of ₹3,00,000.
Required Documents
Candidates must carry original documents or submit a DD along with self-attested photocopies of the following:
- Offer Letter and Institute Allocation Letter
- Final Registration Slip and Admit Card issued by AIIMS
- Educational certificates (10th, MBBS, MD/MS)
- Valid category certificates (OBC-NCL, EWS, SC/ST, PWBD, etc.)
- Medical Council Registration Certificate
Important Guidelines
- Candidates allocated their first preference in the 2nd round are ineligible for further rounds.
- Those who did not participate in the 1st and 2nd rounds can only participate in the open/spot round, if conducted.
- The document transfer between institutes for upgraded candidates will be managed internally.

Next Steps
The 3rd round of online institute allocation will follow the same merit-based process as earlier rounds. Any seats left vacant in the 2nd round will be allocated accordingly. For more details, candidates can refer to the official notification and visit the AIIMS website.
