GIPE Admission 2026 Schedule Out @gipe.ac.in; Registration Starts from January 25

The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), Pune, has announced that the GIPE Admission 2026 registration process for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will commence from January 25, 2026.

As per the official notification, admissions to both UG and PG programmes will be conducted through the CUET 2026 and/or the GIPE Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2026. Candidates are advised to track updates regarding CUET registration and results on the official website of the NTA, while information related to GCET will be available on the GIPE official website at gipe.ac.in.

The online registration link for GIPE Admission 2026 is expected to be activated tentatively on January 25, 2026. The declaration of the merit list will take place after the announcement of CUET and GCET results. Classes for the new academic session are scheduled to commence in the second week of July 2026, tentatively.

GIPE Admission 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

GIPE offers a wide range of programmes, including M.Sc. (Economics) with various specialisations, M.A. (Economics), B.Sc. (Economics), B.Sc. Economics (Data Science), and the Post Graduate Programme in Financial Economics (PGPFE). Eligibility criteria vary by course, with minimum percentage requirements ranging from 50% to 60% depending on the programme and category. Candidates awaiting final examination results are also eligible to apply, subject to provisional admission.

Selection for the PGPFE programme will be conducted through personal interviews. The institute also offers a limited quota for foreign nationals, OCI cardholders, and NRIs.
