Only candidates who qualified Stage I with minimum 50% marks are eligible for Departmental Assessment. The final merit list will be prepared based on combined scores from both Stage I (80 marks) and Stage II (20 marks). Candidates must maintain their eligibility status throughout the assessment process.

Candidates who fail to appear for the scheduled assessment will be considered ineligible for further admission process. No grace marks or alternative assessment opportunities will be provided. The assessment score is final and cannot be challenged after completion.

How to Prepare for INI SS Stage II Departmental Assessment?

Candidates must focus on department-specific clinical knowledge and case discussions. The assessment evaluates practical understanding of specialty-specific topics through interactive video conferencing sessions. Reviewing recent clinical guidelines and case studies relevant to your chosen department strengthens preparation.

Mock interviews and practice sessions with mentors help candidates build confidence. Candidates should research common questions asked in departmental assessments and prepare structured responses. Time management during the 20-minute assessment window is critical for comprehensive coverage of topics.

Important Information About Video Conferencing Assessment

The Departmental Assessment will be conducted exclusively through video conferencing platforms. Candidates must ensure stable internet connectivity and a quiet environment during the assessment. Technical requirements include a working webcam, microphone, and headphones for clear communication with the assessment panel.

Candidates should verify their email for specific platform details and timing information from their respective departments. AIIMS will not provide alternative assessment dates or rescheduling options except in exceptional circumstances. Candidates must join the video call at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

What to Verify Before Assessment Day

Candidates must verify their roll number, department name, and assessment date from the official notification. Ensure your contact details registered with AIIMS are current and accessible. Download and save the assessment schedule PDF from the official AIIMS website for reference.

Check your email regularly for updates from your department regarding platform details and timing. Verify that your system meets the technical requirements for video conferencing. Keep your admit card and identification documents ready for the assessment day.

What’s Next for Students

After completing the Departmental Assessment, AIIMS will compile final merit lists based on combined Stage I and Stage II scores. Results will be announced on the official AIIMS website within the specified timeline. Candidates will then proceed to online seat allocation and counselling based on their final merit position and course preferences.

Shortlisted candidates must participate in the counselling process to secure their admission. The counselling schedule will be communicated separately after result declaration. Candidates should regularly check the official AIIMS website for updates on result dates and counselling procedures.
