AIIMS New Delhi has commenced the registration process for the INI CET July 2026 session. This national-level entrance exam is the gateway for medical aspirants seeking admission into postgraduate courses like MD, MS, M.Ch (6 years), DM (6 years), and MDS at prestigious institutes, including AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to complete their Basic Registration through the PAAR (Postgraduate Admission Academic Registration) portal. The application is a multi-stage process involving basic registration, generation of an Exam Unique Code (EUC), and final submission of the application form.

Candidates must hold an MBBS/BDS degree recognized by NMC/DCI and must complete their 12-month mandatory internship by July 31, 2026. A minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST) is required. Admission is strictly based on the merit rank secured in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). INI CET July 2026 application fee is ₹4,000 for General/OBC/Foreign Nationals and ₹3,200 for SC/ST/EWS candidates. PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee.

How to Apply for the INI CET July 2026 Session?

The application follows the PAAR (Postgraduate Admission Academic Registration) system, which is a three-stage process.

Stage 1: Basic Registration

  • Action: Candidates must visit aiimsexams.ac.in and select Academic Courses followed by INI-CET (MD/MS/MCh(6yrs)/DM(6yrs)).
  • Details: Enter personal information and upload a passport-size photo, signature, and left thumb impression.
  • Note: If a candidate’s Basic Registration was accepted in a previous session (e.g., Jan 2026), they do not need to do this again.

Stage 2: Generation of EUC (Exam Unique Code)

  • Action: Once Basic Registration is "Accepted," the candidate must log in and click Generate Exam Unique Code.
  • Importance: This code is specific to the July 2026 session. Even repeat candidates must generate a new EUC for every session they appear in.

Stage 3: Final Registration

  • Action: Log in using the Registration ID, Password, and the new EUC.
  • Details: Provide academic qualification details (MBBS/BDS marks), internship completion date, and Medical Council Registration.
  • Payment: Pay the application fee (₹4,000 for Gen/OBC; ₹3,200 for SC/ST/EWS).
  • City Choice: Select the preferred examination state and city.
