The Indian Maritime University (IMU) has invited applications for the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Spot Admissions 2026. The spot round covers all UG and PG programmes except the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Interested candidates can register through the official IMU website at imu.edu.in. The last date to complete online registration is August 2, 2026.
The spot counselling round will be held on August 4, 2026. The round is designed to fill vacant seats at IMU campuses after the earlier counselling rounds. Admission will be based on merit, seat availability, and eligibility of the candidate.

Who Is Eligible for the IMU Spot Round?
Candidates who hold a valid IMU CET 2026 rank certificate are eligible to take part in the spot round. Applicants must also meet the programme-specific eligibility norms laid down by the university. This includes the academic qualification, age limit, and medical fitness standards prescribed for each course.
The spot round is open only for the vacant seats across IMU campuses. It is not applicable for the BBA programme.

- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the counselling fee of Rs 10,000 in online mode.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation slip for future reference.
Documents Required for Verification
Selected candidates will be called for offline document verification on the counselling day. The following documents must be carried in original along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.
- IMU CET 2026 rank card and admit card.
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates.
- Graduation mark sheets and degree for PG programmes.
- Valid photo identity proof issued by the government.
- Category certificate, if applicable.
