IMU CET 2026 Registration Begins @imu.edu.in; Exam Scheduled on May 24

Indian Maritime University (IMU) has opened the IMU CET 2026 registration process for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic year. Admissions are open for all programmes except BBA through the Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET). Eligible candidates can apply online, with the last date for submission of applications (except BBA) set for April 24, 2026. The IMU CET 2026 examination will be conducted on May 24, 2026 (Sunday).

Following the entrance test, the academic session for all programmes is scheduled to begin on August 1, 2026. Separate timelines have been announced for BBA programmes, for which admissions will be conducted without IMU-CET.

IMU CET 2026: Admission Schedule (Except BBA)

IMU Fee Structure 2026

Along with the admission schedule, IMU has also released the Fee Structure for various programmes offered at IMU campuses (not applicable to affiliated institutes).

An Admission Registration Fee of ₹10,000 (non-refundable) is charged at the time of admission for all candidates. For students admitted through IMU’s online counselling, the counselling fee of ₹10,000 will be adjusted against this amount.

Additionally, the MBA (Port & Shipping Logistics – PSL) II Year Fee at IMU is ₹2,35,000, excluding a refundable caution deposit of ₹15,000 and optional accommodation and messing charges of ₹70,000.
