IIT Roorkee Begins M.Des Admission 2026 @iitr.ac.in; Apply before April 4

The IIT Roorkee has opened the application process for admission to the M.Des in Industrial Design programme for the academic session 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications till April 4, 2026.

According to the official schedule, shortlisted candidates will be informed in the third week of April 2026. These candidates will then be required to appear for the Aptitude Test and Personal Interview, which are scheduled to be conducted in the second week of May 2026.

The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages. Initially, candidates will be screened based on their CEED score, following which shortlisted applicants will be invited for the Aptitude Test. Candidates who qualify in the aptitude test will be called for a Personal Interview. Invitation letters for these stages will be sent via email and will also be published on the department’s official website.

IIT Roorkee M.Des Admission 2026 Dates

The application fee is INR 500 for General, GEN-EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates must pay INR 250. Female candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
