IIT Mandi has released the academic Fee for Even Semester 2024-25 for existing students and new entrants. The total fee for PhD (new entrants) is INR 81,450. However, the total fee for MA/ MS/ M. Tech is INR 61,450.
IIT Mandi has also announced the hostel and mess charges for the academic year 2024-25 even semester. The hostel fee ranges between INR 9,600 and INR 14,400.

IIT Mandi Important Instructions
- The SC/ST/PH students are given 100% exemption from tuition fees
- Tuition Fee for Sponsored/Part Time/ERP M. Tech (R), MA (R), MS (R) is INR 30,000 and for Ph.D. is INR 50,000
- Tuition Fee for M.Tech., Sponsored is INR 30,000
- Students permitted to take Semester Break/Temporary Withdrawal/Maternity Leave etc. are required to pay INR 2,000 per semester as a continuation fee per semester
- Students who have submitted their thesis within 1 month from the start date are required to pay INR 2000 per semester as a continuation fee till the defence is done
- The tuition fees for M.S. (R), M. Tech (R), MA (R) & Ph.D. under part-time for IIT Mandi staff members is INR 5,000 per semester.
