IIT Madras will conduct its 60th Convocation Ceremony on July 22, with Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, as the esteemed Chief Guest.

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras has hosted its 60th Convocation Ceremony, on July 22, 2023. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, the Chief Justice of India, as well as Dr. Pawan Goenka, Chairperson of the Board of Governors, who will deliver a speech.

In addition, Professor V Kamakoti, the Director of IIT Madras, had presented the Director's Report. Interested candidates who could not attend the convocation offline, were able to attend it online at @iitm.chennaistream.com.

As per the official announcement shared on its social media handle, #IITMadras is all set to hold its 'Sixtieth Convocation' on July 22, 2023, starting from 11 a.m. The event will take place at the Students Activity Centre (SAC) on the IIT Madras campus, with the esteemed Chief Justice of India, Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, as the distinguished chief guest.

In addition to this, IIT Madras has also introduced an Online Certification Course on Construction Technology and Management. This course aims to impart the latest advancements in construction technology and management practices.

The course primarily targets working professionals in structural design and construction firms, as well as faculty members in engineering colleges and students aspiring to work in the construction industry. It aims to familiarize them with the latest construction management techniques and methodologies.

The inaugural batch is scheduled to commence on September 1, 2023, with the application deadline set for August 20, 2023.

Though there are no specific eligibility requirements, a background in architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, or management is preferable. Interested individuals can register for the course using the following link.
