IIT Kharagpur Extends Admission 2026 Deadline Again for Law and MPPLG Courses; Apply Till February 27

The IIT Kharagpur has again extended the application deadline for LLB, LLM, and Master’s in Public Policy, Law and Governance (MPPLG) admissions for the academic session 2026. Interested candidates can now submit their applications online till February 27, 2026.

As per the official notification, the entrance examination for all three programmes will be conducted on March 29, 2026, in computer-based mode. The admit card for shortlisted candidates will be released on March 18, 2026, and can be downloaded from the respective application portal.

IIT Kharagpur Admission 2026 Dates – LLB, LLM & MPPLG

For admission to the LLB programme, candidates must hold a first-class bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Medicine, or a related discipline. For LLM admission, candidates must have a first-class LLB degree from a recognised university.

The MPPLG programme is a two-year interdisciplinary course aimed at providing knowledge in public policy, governance, and legal frameworks. Selection for MPPLG will be based on a computer-based written test, followed by a group discussion and a personal interview.
