Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur has announced the revised schedule for PGPEX-LSM Admission 2026 (Cycle 1) for professionals aiming to build careers in manufacturing leadership.

The institute has extended the application deadline to February 28, 2026, while the admission test will be conducted on March 7, 2026, followed by interviews. The one-year executive programme is jointly delivered with Germany’s RWTH Aachen University, combining management education with global manufacturing exposure.

How Will The Admission Process Work?

The selection will be conducted in stages at IIM Sirmaur:

  1. Application screening
  2. Aptitude test (for candidates without CAT/GRE/GMAT)
  3. Personal Interview
  4. Final merit list

Selected candidates who successfully complete the programme from both institutes will receive a joint certification during the annual convocation.

The PGPEX-LSM programme offered by Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University is specially designed for working professionals aiming for leadership roles in manufacturing and operations.

Participants benefit from an on-campus term in Germany, an industry-focused and future-ready curriculum, and practical exposure through classroom learning, industry visits, simulation exercises, and capstone projects.

The programme also provides first-hand experience of German manufacturing practices while aligning with India’s Make in India vision.

To apply, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (BTech/BE/BSc or allied fields) with at least 50% marks, along with a minimum of three years of manufacturing or related work experience, preferably including shop-floor exposure.

Applicants should have a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE score from the last five years, while others must take IIM Sirmaur’s aptitude test. The application fee is ₹2,000.

The fee structure includes ₹11,00,000 for the Indian component, which covers single-occupancy hostel accommodation, study materials, campus events, expert sessions, and industry visits.

Additionally, the German component costs 10,000 Euros, covering accommodation, teaching, laboratory courses, excursions, meals during official events, and local transport, and must be paid directly to RWTH Aachen.

Airfare and visa expenses are not included. Candidates should submit their applications by February 28, 2026, prepare for the March 7, 2026 admission test, and keep their documents, scorecards, and experience proofs ready to smoothly complete interviews and fee formalities.
