IIM Mumbai Introduces PG Diploma in Public Policy Management

The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai has launched a new Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy Management (PGDPPM) for the 2026 batch. This course is aimed at mid-career professionals who want to learn how public policy, leadership, and strategy come together to shape society.

According to a statement from the institute, the initiative is structured as a one-year, 45-credit diploma intended for mid-career professionals working across government, corporate, and social sectors. The last date to apply is 20 December 2025.

To apply for the PG Diploma in Public Policy at IIM Mumbai, candidates must be graduates with a minimum of five years of work experience and at least 50% marks in their Graduation or Post-Graduation.

Applicants are required to clear the IIM Mumbai Admission Test (IMAT). However, candidates who already hold a valid CAT, GMAT, or GRE score (taken within the last five years) can also apply without appearing for IMAT.

The application fee for the PG Diploma in Public Policy at IIM Mumbai is ₹2,500, which must be paid online at the time of submitting the application form.

The total programme fee is ₹8,75,000, inclusive of GST. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. Applicants should note that any request for a batch transfer will attract an additional charge of ₹10,000.
