IIM Lucknow Summer Placement 2025-27 Sees 16.5% Rise in Average Stipend; 562 Offers Made

The IIM Lucknow has successfully concluded the Summer Placement process for the 2025–27 batch, recording its highest-ever average and median stipends. The placements were conducted for the 41st batch of the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and the 22nd batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM).

According to the official placement report, the highest stipend offered stood at ₹3.95 lakh per month, while the average stipend reached ₹1.67 lakh per month. The median stipend was recorded at ₹1.72 lakh per month. The institute also reported a 16.5% increase in the average stipend and a 14.5% rise in the median stipend compared with the previous placement cycle.

The batch size for the placement process was 572 students, including 399 males (70%) and 173 females (30%). The batch had a diverse mix of experience and academic backgrounds. 227 students had 0–1 year of experience, 142 had 1–2 years, and 161 had 2–3 years, while a smaller number had more experience.

Domain-wise Placement Statistics

Students came from diverse professional and academic backgrounds. Around 25% of the batch had prior experience in IT and Analytics, followed by 19% in Operations, 18% in Consulting, 18% in other sectors, 15% in Finance, and 5% in Sales and Marketing. The batch also included 15 Chartered Accountants (CA) and 44 CFA candidates.
