Candidates should have at least seven years of full-time work experience and must be under 55 years of age as of March 31, 2026. They are also required to hold a valid score in CAT, GATE, GMAT/GMAT Focus Edition, GRE, JRF/SRF, or appear for the EFPM Entrance Exam conducted by IIM Lucknow.

A candidate may receive first-year exemption if they have completed a two-year MBA/PGDM with at least 60% or 6.0 CGPA, and the degree is from:

  • an institute ranked in the top 15 of NIRF Management, or
  • an institute accredited by AMBA, AACSB, or EQUIS.

The final decision on exemption is taken by the interview panel. Candidates must fill out the application form and attach documents supporting eligibility. Each applicant can choose two academic areas in a single form.

Applications are shortlisted by area-level committees. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview, conducted at either Lucknow or Noida campus. The final selection is based on the interview performance, academic record, and professional background.
