IIM Kozhikode Hosts Management and Governance Training for 30 International Delegates

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Kozhikode has successfully organised a five-day training workshop on the theme of 'Leadership 4.0 -Management and Governance in the Emerging World of Digital Leadership' as part of its Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) initiative. 

The 6th batch of the on-campus offline training program of IIM Kozhikode was supported by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)-funded initiative and instructed 30 participants from 23 partner countries in scientific aspects of leadership and management.

Participants who attended the program were from Chile, Maldives, Myanmar, Brazil, Ghana, Cambodia, Paraguay, Guatemala, Guyana, Nepal, Thailand, Turkey, Kenya, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Botswana, Philippines, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and the Dominican Republic.

IIM Kozhikode Hosts Management and Governance Training for 30 International Delegates

The programme featured the four disciplines of 'Leadership 4.0': "authenticity (closing the gap between you and your own reality), connectivity (creating resonance), productivity (the art of undoing), and possibility (changing mental models)”.

A classroom session was held by IIM Kozhikode expert faculty members, led by Director Debashis Chatterjee, covering immersion networking events on topics such as mindful leadership, the Indian economy, creativity for social innovation, negotiation skills, and communicating in a disruptive world.

In addition to this, a study tour of the neighbouring Wayanad district, Achoor Tea Factory and Tea Museum and Sargaalaya Arts and Crafts Village was organised for the participants. Through the tour, they reviewed the institute’s successful community-driven initiatives, the ‘Nenmeni Sudha Jala Vitharana Society’ project.
