The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Kozhikode) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) will host a macroeconomics, banking, and finance conference, "Securing Financial Stability Amid Global Spillovers."

New Delhi: The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) Mumbai and IIM Kozhikode will host a macroeconomics, banking, and finance conference. Themed "Securing Financial Stability Amid Global Spillovers," the one-day event on February 16, 2024 at NSE Mumbai will explore crucial topics through lectures and panel discussions.

The conference will include topics and lectures on sovereign debt management, risks in emerging markets, global financial reforms, cross-border spillover mitigation, India's bond index inclusion, and associated macroeconomic financial market implications.

Distinguished figures in banking, finance, and macroeconomics, such as V Anantha Nageswaran (Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India), Dinesh Khara (Chairman of SBI), and KV Kamath (Chairman of Jio Financial Services) will be present in the conference.

Debahsis Chatterjee, the conference Director of IIM Kozhikode faculty, highlighted the institute's commitment to educational innovation, expressing that the conference aims to provide insights into mitigating financial market turmoil arising from black swan events and disruptive shocks.
