IIM Indore has entered into a game-changing partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

New Delhi: IIM-Indore has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for skill development projects, emphasizing the institution's dedication to nurturing talent and contributing to the nation's workforce development.
This collaboration with help to develop a design dynamic skill program, especially for market demand, entrepreneurship, and research in India. According to IIM-Indore director professor Himanshu Rai “This collaboration is set to create a unique social impact model backed by pioneering projects that employ innovative approaches. These initiatives will provide professional support to underserved regions, communities, individuals, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), thereby nurturing a skilled ecosystem primed for market success.”

He also added, “We will embark on joint research activities, encompassing surveys and qualitative research methods, to gain profound insights into industry dynamics and stakeholder needs.”
The MoU will be active for three years and the partnership will be extended. The partnership places a strong emphasis on fostering social and rural entrepreneurship, including the establishment of a social/rural entrepreneurship incubator as an exemplar.

According to NSDC Chief Executive Officer Ved Mani Tiwari “Our goal is to inspire others and attract support from investors and partners, ultimately creating a sustainable ecosystem that nurtures grassroots innovations and social entrepreneurship, leading to positive societal and economic transformation.”
