With Healthcare offers up by 70% and a surge in Investment Banking and E-commerce roles, 30% new recruiters join the placement cycle for the PGP & PGPBA cohort

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has completed the Summer Placement process for its Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGP-BA) 2025–27 batch with 100% placements. All 601 participating students received internship offers from 137 organisations during the placement week held from October 13 to 18, 2025.
Students secured offers across a wide range of roles, including Consulting, Finance, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, General Management, and Analytics.
Consulting continued to be the most popular domain this year, accounting for 46% of all internship offers, a record high compared to 38% last year. Major firms such as Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, and Deloitte participated in the process.
The Healthcare sector saw the sharpest growth, with more than a 70% jump in offers, rising to 23 in total, reflecting expanding opportunities in healthcare management and analytics.

The Eleven-member student Placement Committee said, “With 601 students, the largest batch among all IIMs, this placement season witnessed strong participation from both legacy as well as new recruiters, with about 30% being first-time recruiters. This season stands as a testament to our institute’s strong industry standing and the deep trust recruiters place in our students.”
