IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placement 2023 Achieves 100% Placement; BCG Gives Away the Most Offers

A total of 404 offers were made to the students. Out of them, two students had opted out to work on their own projects.

IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placement 2023 Achieves 100% Placement;

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has concluded the Summer Placement 2023 for the Post Graduate Program (PGP) Batch of 2025. The placement drive was conducted in three clusters and the students have successfully achieved 100% placements.

According to the press release by IIM Ahmedabad, a total of 125 firms from multiple domains partipated in the three cluster placements. A total of 404 students got placed with 142 in the Consulting Sector, 3 in finance and 48 in the marketing sectors.

In the Management Consulting cohort, Boston Consulting Group was the top recruiter with 22 offers, followed by Bain & Company, McKinsey and Kearney as other top recruiters. Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Accenture Strategy, Alvarez & Marsal, Arthur D Little, Auctus Advisors, Kepler Cannon, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Ernst & Young, and Strategy& were also prominent participants.

In the Investment Banking and Markets Cohort, Goldman Sachs was the highest recruiter with 9 offers. Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, Estee Advisors, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC were among the prominent recruiters. Goldman Sachs stood out as the top recruiter in this cohort, with nine offers.

In the Consumer Goods and Durables cohort, HUL extended 9 offers followed by Proctor & Gamble with six offers. Westbridge, I-squared Capital, RTP Global, Multiples, Faering Capital, and Piramal Alternatives actively participated in the placement process.

With 11 offers, Mahindra was the largest recruiter in the Conglomerates cohort, followed by Adani with 10 offers. Amazon was the highest recruiter in the Retail B2B & B2C domain with 7 offers. In the IT Consulting cohort, Tata Consultancy Services was the largest recruiter with 19 offers. Fin IQ Consulting was the highest recruiter in the Financial Tech cohort, with 5 offers. Tata Steel was the highest recruiter in the Core Manufacturing & Infrastructure cohort with 5 offers.
