IIIT Una PhD Admission 2025–26 Opens

The IIIT Una has invited applications for its full-time PhD programme for the even semester of the 2025–26 academic year. The admissions are being conducted under the Non-Stipendiary category, and the application deadline is December 28, 2025. The written test and interview are scheduled to take place on January 12, 2026, followed by the result announcement on January 19, 2026.

For the 2025–26 session, IIIT Una has announced 15 full-time PhD seats across two schools: eight seats in the School of Computing and seven seats in the School of Electronics. Reservations will apply as per the Government of India guidelines.

The minimum eligibility criteria follow the institute’s PhD Ordinance. Candidates with an M.Tech./M.E. degree must have at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA (55% or 5.5 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD). Applicants holding a B.Tech./B.E. degree require the same marks criteria along with a valid GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/DST INSPIRE/JEST/NBHM qualification.

A national exam exemption is available to candidates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) who have completed a four-year degree with 7.5 CGPA or above (or 75% marks).

Applications must be submitted online along with scanned documents through the official Google Form link provided by IIIT Una. No TA/DA will be offered for the interview, and the institute reserves the right to limit or reject applications as per its regulations.
