IIIT Hyderabad PhD Admissions 2026 Begins at iit.ac.in; Physical Reporting Till December 30

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad is set to conclude the PhD admission 2026 process for full-time and part-time doctoral programmes in multiple disciplines. The last date of physical reporting to the IIIT H campus is December 20, 2025.

The minimum eligibility to get admission in the PhD program at IIIT Hyderabad is Masters degree with at least 60% marks from a recognised institution. Admission to the PhD programme is based on the academic performance in relevant subjects, standard exam scores (such as GATE), merit scholarships such as CSIR-UGC NET and CV/relevant work experience in the IT industry/R&D labs.

Shortlisted applicants will be further invited in person to the IIIT Hyderabad campus for a written test, followed by a technical interview and the final selection is based on performance in the interview.

The PhD programmes are offered across a wide range of disciplines, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computational Natural Sciences.

According to the official website, selected PhD scholars will be awarded a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 to INR 35,000, depending on the stage of the student in the PhD program.
