IIFT CV Form Deadline Extended Till February 13 for MBA Admission 2026; Check Details Here

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has extended the last date to submit the CV form for its MBA (IB) and MBA (BA) 2026–28 programmes. Candidates who applied for admission through CAT 2025 can now complete their CV submission by February 13, 2026 (11:59 PM).

The CV form is a mandatory step in the admission process and is required for shortlisting for the next stage, which includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The admission process is conducted in two stages. In Stage 1, candidates are shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) based on their CAT 2025 score, along with parameters such as work experience and gender diversity.

CAT 2025 carries the highest weightage of 90 marks in the shortlisting process. Work experience is calculated as of September 30, 2025, and specific rating scores are assigned based on the number of months of experience.

Candidates who clear Stage 1 are called for Stage 2, which includes GD and PI rounds. The final merit list is prepared by considering multiple components, including CAT 2025 score (55%), Personal Interview (20%), Group Discussion (10%), Gender Diversity (5%), Work Experience (5%), and Academic Consistency (5%), making a total of 100 marks.

Academic consistency is calculated using marks obtained in Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation. Rating scores are assigned based on percentage brackets.

If a candidate belongs to a COVID batch and marks at one level are not available, the weightage is redistributed among the remaining levels. For final-year students, marks obtained till the last completed semester will be considered if the final result is awaited.

After the CV submission deadline ends on February 13, 2026, IIFT will release the list of shortlisted candidates for the GD and PI rounds. The institute will inform candidates through their registered email IDs.
