Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for Indira Gandhi National Tribal University’s PhD program

- Click the "Click here to apply" link that appears beneath the PhD 2025–2026 announcement.
- Complete the form.
- Send in the necessary paperwork.
- Make the application fee payment.
- Press "Submit."
IGNTU PhD Program Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in taking admission to the PhD program of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University must be eligible as per the below-mentioned criteria:
- After completing a three-year bachelor's degree program with at least 55% of the possible points, or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is used, students can pursue a master's degree program.
- For individuals who belong to the SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), or both, a relaxation of 5% marks or its equal grade may be permitted.
- Those who have passed the JRF, NET, GPAT, GATE, CEED, NET Score (Ph.D. Admission), or any other comparable national-level exam.
IGNTU PhD Program Documents Required
The list of documents candidates must submit at the time of admission is mentioned below:
- A picture the size of a passport
- Copies of your self-attested grades and certifications starting on the tenth
- copy of your caste certificate that has been self-attested (SC/OBC-NCL)
- A copy of your most recent income certificate that has been self-attested
All of the information pertaining to the candidate's admission will be sent to the phone number and email address provided at the time of admission. Failure to provide any of the aforementioned essential documents will result in the candidate losing their opportunity of admission.
