BITSOM Begins MBA Admission 2026; Apply For Round 2 Till Jan 25

BITS School of Management (BITSOM), Mumbai has officially started MBA Admission 2026 Round 2, inviting applications from candidates aiming to join the new academic cycle. Round 1 applications closed on November 16, 2025, and interviews for shortlisted candidates will continue through November and December before the results are announced on January 15, 2026.

For applicants applying through CAT, the institute has announced a separate interview cycle in early 2026. Candidates must ensure that they submit valid test scores within the notified timelines to complete their applications.

Eligibility Criteria

BITS School of Management follows a multi-stage evaluation model for MBA admissions, placing emphasis on academic excellence, personal achievements, and leadership potential rather than just test scores. The process begins with an online application, followed by a personal interview for shortlisted candidates.

Final offers are issued based on a comprehensive review of the candidate’s profile, covering academics, work experience, extracurriculars, and demonstrated leadership traits.

Unlike institutes with fixed percentile cutoffs, BITSOM adopts a holistic assessment approach, meaning test scores alone do not ensure admission. Applicants must also note that their application will be reviewed only after valid test scores are submitted.

BITSOM accepts scores from multiple management entrance tests, including:

• CAT
• GMAT / GMAT Focus
• GRE

Candidates are advised to submit their exam results within the notified deadlines to ensure their application is processed without delay.
