New Delhi: On January 22 President of ICAI, Aniket S Talati, announced that The Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Talati also mentioned that ICAI will sign the MoU with CBSE on February 8, 2024. The motive of the partnership is for ICAI to provide career counseling in schools affiliated with CBSE to make students aware of the Chartered Accountancy course and job opportunities available after this professional course. ICAI will develop some content related to the course for CBSE Schools in the form of modules and videos.
During the NES-CA 2024, ICAI launched another study material “Aarambh: A Step Towards Financial Independence”, which will teach students aspects such as Fundamentals of Financial Planning, Banking and Credit, Basis of Taxation, and Retirement Planning.
ICAI will sign an MoU with 11 universities during the two-day event of NES-CA 2024. As a part of the collaboration, ICAI will extend support to universities and colleges in various aspects, including the development of Commerce Syllabi, online and recorded, and faculty development programs.
Prof Deepak Kumar Srivastava appreciated the institute and mentioned that UGC is closely working with Higher Educational Institutes (HEIs) and issued guidelines to formulate the premise for integrating skilling into higher education at all levels.
