Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling: Overall Merit List and Schedule Released for MD/MS Courses

Atal Medical and Research University, HP has released the Overall Merit list for PG MD/MS counselling of Himachal Pradesh based on NEET PG 2024 as provided by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. All HP Quota Candidates will be allowed to fill choices of Management Quota seats also. The Category merit list shall be released on November 16, 2024. The candidates are advised to approach the allotted college/institute only after the declaration of Final Seat Allotment and only after downloading the Provisional allotment letter from the candidate’s login.

• For the 1st round of counseling, the Merit list will be released on November 16, 2024
• For 2nd round of counseling, the Display of the vacancy position for the 2nd round will be on December 11, 2024
• For the 3rd round of Counselling, the Display of the vacancy position for the 3rd round will be on January 6, 2025

Seat Allotment and Choice-Filling Process

Following the release of the overall merit list, candidates must go through the choice-filling and seat allotment process:

• Choice Filling: Due to the above merit list ranking, the candidates can be provided the opportunity to choose colleges and courses of their choice.
• Seat Allotment Rounds: There are generally, two stages of seat distribution and a final stage of distribution called mop-up round in which the remaining seats are filled.
• Reporting to College: After the seat is allocated, candidates can go to the respective college where they are supposed to do admission-related formalities of the process like document verification and fee submission etc.

Documents Required for Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counseling

During counseling and college reporting, candidates need the following documents:

• NEET PG admit card 2024 and NEET PG scorecard
• MBBS Degree Certificate and Internship Completion Certificate papers.
• If applicable a Domicile Certificate
• Category Certificate (for reserved category aspirants).
• Valid photo ID proof
• Passport-sized photographs
