New Delhi: The 2nd International Winter Business School Conference (WBSC-2023) is scheduled at the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, on December 20 and 21, 2023. 

This conference of Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, themed "Managing Businesses for a Sustainable Future: G-20 and Beyond," will serve as an essential platform, bringing together national and international academicians, industry practitioners, and Indian government representatives to delve into pioneering theories and applications of sustainability across various management domains.

The pre-conference was held on December 20 and was addressed by eminent British researcher Professor Richard SJ Tol from the University of Sussex and Editor-in-Chief of Energy Economics. Following this, industry stalwarts from Balmer Lawrie, Schneider Electric, Wells Fargo, and Boston Consulting Group will engage in a panel discussion, shedding light on their diverse sustainability initiatives.

On December 21, a panel comprising think tanks and policymakers will convene to deliberate on the performance of G-20 countries concerning selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Notable representatives from UN ESCAP, World Bank, WWF and CUTS will steer this significant conversation. The conference's formal inauguration will be orchestrated by Samyukta Samadar, IAS, Commissioner, National Capital Region and GOI Nodal for SDG.

The keynote address, a highlight of the event, will be delivered by Dr. Brandon Randolph-Seng, a distinguished Professor of Management at Texas University A&M-Commerce. The conference agenda includes paper presentations by researchers and academics from diverse corners of the country, focusing on sustainability themes within management domains such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Human Resource Management. Recognizing excellence, the conference will honor the best papers in each track.

An eminent fireside chat with journal Editors will provide a rare opportunity for aspiring researchers and students to glean insights from esteemed personalities like Dr. Brandon Randolph-Seng, Professor Leila Dagher from Lebanese American University, Lebanon and Prof. Aviral Tiwari from IIM Bodh Gaya. Their guidance will illuminate the path toward publishing quality research in peer-reviewed academic journals, enriching the scholarly landscape.
