Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU), Jamuhar, Sasaram has started the UG and PG admission process for the 2026–27 academic session. The university will conduct a Computer-Based Entrance Test (CBT) for most courses and seats will be filled based on merit and eligibility criteria.

Students from science, commerce, arts, law, engineering, nursing and healthcare streams can apply. The official notification also confirms the registration start date and entrance exam schedule, so candidates should complete the form on time.

Admissions are open across multiple faculties at the university, including Law, Management, Library Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Engineering and Information Technology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied and Healthcare Sciences, and Rehabilitation Sciences.

Students can choose from several popular programmes such as B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, BAJMC, LLB, MBA, MCA, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Agriculture courses, along with many other undergraduate and postgraduate options offered by the university.

The entrance test fee is ₹1000 for all courses, including Nursing programmes. Candidates must pay this amount while submitting the application form to appear for the university entrance examination.

Students applying for admission must meet the basic eligibility criteria set by the university. For undergraduate (UG) courses at GNSU, candidates should have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board, with the required stream depending on the chosen programme.

For postgraduate (PG) courses, applicants must hold a relevant graduation degree in the concerned field. In most courses, the minimum qualifying marks range between 40% and 50%, with relaxation provided for reserved categories as per Bihar Government norms.

It is important to note that medical programmes such as MBBS, MD and MS are filled only through NEET counselling, not the university entrance test.

To apply, candidates must first fill out the online application form and pay the ₹1000 entrance test fee. After successful registration, they need to appear for the Computer-Based Entrance Test (CBT) conducted by the university.

Once the results are announced, students should check the merit list and shortlisted candidates must participate in counselling and document verification. After the results, selected applicants are required to report for counselling and seat allotment, where final admission is confirmed based on merit and eligibility.
