At the time of counselling, candidates must bring with them papers such as 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets and passing certificates, graduation degree certificates, graduation mark sheets, and NEET PG scorecards.

The schedule for the third round of MD/MS program counselling for the academic year 2025 has been issued by Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh. Candidates who were assigned seats in earlier counselling rounds must surrender them by January 5, 2025 to be eligible for the third round of counselling. Process of physical admission and document verification will be conducted on January 14, 2025. Other important admission dates are mentioned below.

GMCH Chandigarh MD/MS Courses Third Round Counselling Important Dates

Candidates eligible for MD/MS Third round of Counselling at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh must follow the schedule mentioned below:

Online filling and locking of selections (MD/MS) for the third counselling	January 8 to 11, 2025
Display of results for seat assignment in the third counselling	January 13, 2025
Reporting, document verification, medical examination, and fee submission for selected candidates in the third counselling	January 14, 2025

GMCH Chandigarh MD/MS Courses Third Round Counselling Documents Requires

Candidates must have with them the list of below listed documents at the time of counselling:

10th and 12th Certificates
Graduation degree certificate
Graduation mark sheets
NEET PG scorecard
Internship completion certificate
Medical Council Registration Certificate
Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
Domicile Certificate (for state quota seats)
Passport-size photographs

Candidates who have been awarded seats/have reported for admission in and after the first and second state counselling must resign their seats via online mode by January 5, 2025, at 4 p.m. to participate in the third counselling. Candidates who forfeit their allotted/reported seat for admission must fill out their preferences according to the schedule provided above in order to participate in the Third Counselling.

As noted in the prospectus, Seats relinquished in the general category will be returned to the general category, while seats surrendered in the reserved category will be returned to the reserved category of the appropriate pool.
