MAH MCA CET CAP 2026 Registration Extended till July 21 at mca2026.mahacet.org.in; Check Revised Merit List Date

Maharashtra's State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has revised its counselling schedule. It has extended the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Master of Computer Applications (MAH MCA CET) 2026 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) registration till July 21, 2026. The new cut-off time is 5 PM on the same day. Candidates can apply through the official portal, mca2026.mahacet.org.in.

The provisional merit list release has also been postponed. It will now be published on July 24, 2026. The earlier date has been shifted due to the extension of the registration deadline.

The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is Maharashtra's state-level counselling process for MCA admissions. It covers government, aided and unaided colleges across the state.

Who Should Complete the Registration Now?

The extension applies to all MAH MCA CET 2026-qualified candidates. It also covers non-CET candidates who are eligible for institute-level vacant seats. Candidates who have not yet submitted the CAP form must complete the process before 5 PM on July 21, 2026.

Candidates who have already registered do not need to reapply. However, they can still edit their application or upload pending documents until the same deadline.

No further extension has been announced by the CET Cell so far.

How to Complete MAH MCA CET CAP 2026 Registration?

The registration window closes at 5 PM on July 21, 2026. Candidates can follow the steps below to complete their CAP application:

• Visit the official CAP portal at mca2026.mahacet.org.in.
• Log in using the MAH MCA CET 2026 application number and password.
• Fill in the required personal, academic and category details in the CAP form.
• Upload scanned copies of the required documents and a recent photograph.
• Pay the applicable CAP registration fee using the available online payment modes.
• Submit the application form and download the confirmation receipt for future reference.
