GATE 2026 Exam Centre Changes for Select Candidates; Check Revised Admit Card Details

Due to a change in the examination centre’s name & address, the previously issued hall tickets have been rendered invalid. Affected candidates must download the revised admit card immediately from the GOAPS portal.

The IIT Guwahati, the organising institute for GATE 2026, has issued a revised admit card for candidates allotted to exam centre code 2082 after updating the centre’s name and address. Aspirants previously assigned to this test centre are required to download the updated hall ticket from the GOAPS portal at gate2026.iitg.ac.in using their enrolment ID and password.

The revision follows an official notification stating that the name and address of Centre 2082 have been changed, making the earlier admit cards invalid for entry on the day of the examination. Candidates are advised to verify the revised centre details carefully and obtain the new admit card well in advance to avoid confusion or issues on exam day.

The GATE 2026 examination will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in CBT mode across more than 200 cities in India, under the coordination of eight zonal institutes.

How to Download GATE 2026 Revised Admit Card?

Candidates can download the GATE 2026 revised admit card by logging in to the GOAPS portal using their registered credentials and following the official download process.

Visit gate2026.iitg.ac.in and open the GOAPS portal.
Log in using your Enrollment ID/Email ID and Password.
Click on Download GATE 2026 Admit Card.
Check the updated exam centre details (especially Centre 2082).
Download the PDF and take a colour printout on A4 paper.

While the revision specifically impacts candidates at Centre 2082, all GATE 2026 aspirants are advised to double-check their GATE 2026 admit card on the GOAPS portal one final time before the exam to stay updated on any minor venue adjustments.
