IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 result declaration date. The results will be out on March 19, 2024.

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 dates on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The exams will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 in two sessions in Computer-based test (CBT) mode. The GATE 2025 result will be declared on March 19, 2024.

The GATE 2025 application portal will open on August 24, 2024. Candidates can choose one or two test papers from the available combinations. The GATE 2025 scores will be valid three years after the result announcement date.

Why is GATE 2025 Conducted?

Candidates qualifying in GATE 2025 candidates can apply for Master’s and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, and Humanities, potentially receiving financial assistance. The GATE scores are also used by some colleges and institutions for postgraduate admissions without MoE scholarships and by various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for recruitment.

IIT Roorkee is the organizing institute for GATE 2025, in collaboration with IISc Bengaluru and seven other IITs: Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee. The exam is conducted under the supervision of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
