GJIMT successfully hosted the 19th International Conference GJ-IntConMITE 2025 on “Globalizing Indian Wisdom: IKS in the Contemporary World” on December 12, 2025, with international participation and over 30 research paper presentations.
The 19th International Conference, GJ-IntConMITE 2025, themed “Globalizing Indian Wisdom: IKS in the contemporary world,” was successfully convened on December 12, 2025.
The conference provided an academic platform for scholars and researchers from India and abroad to discuss the relevance of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). The session witnessed international participation, including three researchers from the United States of America (USA). The session featured presentations of over 30 research papers focusing on integrated academic approaches and emerging research trends.
The commencement session featured the Chief Guest and keynote speaker Dr. Chander Prakash (IKS Cell Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Chemistry, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University), who delivered a keynote address in alignment with the conference theme. Dr. Prakash also highlighted the relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in the present-day scholarly discourse.
The meeting was conducted through two parallel virtual tracks from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Track 1 was chaired by Dr. Parag Shukla, Assistant Professor, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Track 2 was chaired by Dr. Kulwinder Singh, University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The conference coordinator, Dr. Bushra SP Singh, announced a slew of initiatives, a 5-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “AI Skills for Future-Ready Faculty: Towards Viksit Bharat 2047”, scheduled from June 8–12, 2026, and the 22nd National Conference GJ-NatConMITE 2026 on the theme “From Atmanirbhar to Viksit Bharat 2047: India’s Journey Towards Self-Reliance and Global Leadership”, to be held on June 29, 2026.
The academic gathering acknowledged the support of the participants and was concluded with an expression of gratitude.
