Students from Uttar Pradesh and outside from Uttar Pradesh can apply for the scholarship through the SAKSHAM online portal. Given the fact that total colleges in Uttar Pradesh surpasses 2000+ colleges, UP state has established many tiers of scholarships to guarantee that students from different financial backgrounds can benefit from the program. • Students who are pursuing 9th class and 10th class, are called Pre-matric Scholarships program.
• Students who are pursuing 11th class and 12th class of the UP Post-Matric Interscholastic Scholarships.
• Students who are pursuing graduation, post-graduation, Ph.D.,degrees.are also apply for this Scholarships
• UP alumni who are enrolled in a post-baccalaureate program outside Uttar Pradesh can also apply for scholarships.

Student Registration Process for Scholarships Uttar Pradesh

Process:

Step 1: New student registration

• Check the official website scholarship.up.gov.in.
• Check the "Student" section and click on "New Registration."
• Choose the scholarship you wish to apply for.
• Fill in all the required information marked with an *.
• Click "Submit" to complete the registration process.
• Print out the registration slip for your records and future reference.

Step 2: Student Login

• After registration Select the “Student” option and choose the fresh “Fresh Login” for new scholarship application or “Renewal Login” for renewing the application . 
• Login with registration number,date of birth and password.
• Read the instructions carefully while filling up the form.
• After reading the instructions, click the tick in the box and proceed to continue.

Step 3: Filling out the scholarship application

• After choosing the "Proceed" button will take the user to the user dashboard.
• Select the "Fill in the application form" section.
• Fill all the details in the scholarship application form.
• Select on the "Submit" button.

Step 4: Upload all the required documents .

• Residential proof, such as ration card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, or PAN card.
• A passport-sized photograph of the applicant.
• Caste certificate, if applicable.
• Income certificate.
• Domicile certificate.
• Student ID proof.
• Mark sheets of the qualifying examination.
• Receipt of current year's fee or admission letter.
• Student's bank passbook.

Step 5: Complete the final submission online.

Step 6: Submit the form at your respective educational institution.
