• The candidates who apply for this scholarship should be studying in classes 1- 10 th and must have 75% attendance.
• Parents of applicants who do not hold regular employment and are unable to pay for their children's fundamental needs, such as an education, are eligible for the scholarship.
• Students who apply for this scholarship should have at least marks of 50% in their last qualifying examination, students studying in class 1 excluded from this eligibility criteria. 
• The applicant must reside in Karnataka.
