A total of 8 Indian B Schools have been ranked in the Financial Times B School Rankings 2025. IIM Ahmedabad has secured 31st place in 2025 rankings as compared to 41st place last year.

Financial Times has released its Global MBA Rankings for 2025. The top 100 B-schools have been ranked on various parameters like weighted salary and carbon footprint rank. Among Indian B-Schools, Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad has again topped the charts improving its ranking from #31 in 2024 to #27 in 2025. Wharton University tops the Financial Times Global B School Ranking for the second consecutive year. The top 100 B schools globally were divided into 4 tiers. Tier I had 8 B schools, followed by 38 B schools in Tier II, 44 B schools in Tier III, and 10 B schools in Tier IV. Business schools in tiers l and ll score above the average for the cohort, and tiers lll and lV are below it. The difference in scores between schools ranked consecutively is greater within tiers l and lV than in tiers ll and lll.
