Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education or HPBOSE has announced the HP Board class 10 passing marks on the official website. As per the HPBOSE 10th passing criteria, candidates must score at least 33% marks in each subject to pass the HP Board Class 12 examination. Out of 100 marks in each subject, candidates must score a minimum of 33 marks. HPBOSE has allotted 80 marks for each subject with theory papers only. To pass the subjects with theory papers only, candidates must score at least 28 marks to pass the HP Board class 12 exam 2025. For subjects with practical papers, the maximum marks allotted is 60, and to pass the theory paper of subjects with practicals, candidates must score at least 19 marks to clear the examination. Practical papers must also be passed with at least 33% marks. Students also need to score a minimum of 33% marks in the internal assessment. Students must score at least 7 marks out of 20 to pass the HP Board class 10 internal assessment papers.
HPBOSE evaluates the performance of students appearing for the HP Board class 12 exam based on the HP Board class 12 grading system. As per the grading system for HP Board class 12, students will be awarded grades from A1 to E2 based on the scores obtained by candidates in the examination. Students will be awarded an A1 grade if they score 91 to 100% marks, and an A2 grade if they score 81 to 90% marks in HPBOSE 12th exam 2025. To pass the HP Board 12th exam 2025, students must secure a minimum of a D grade. Candidates who fail to score a minimum of 33% marks will be awarded grade E1 or E2.
