DMIMS Extends AIPHDCET January 2026 Deadline to March 2; Exam on March 8

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (DMIMS), Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha, has extended the last date to apply for its PhD Common Entrance Test (AIPHDCET) January 2026 batch. The university has also rescheduled the online entrance examination.

Eligible postgraduate candidates can now submit applications till March 2, 2026, while the entrance test will be conducted on March 8, 2026 in online mode. The admission is open across multiple faculties under the university.

The university has officially revised the application and exam schedule for the January 2026 PhD batch.

Candidates are advised to complete the application process before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

For PhD admission at Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, open category candidates must have at least 55% marks in a relevant postgraduate degree, while reserved category candidates need a minimum of 50% marks.

NET-qualified candidates are eligible for direct admission without appearing for the entrance exam. The university also allows working professionals to pursue PhD in part-time or full-time mode.

DMIMS has built a strong research ecosystem with 196 patents published, 137 patents granted, and over 17,500 Scopus, WOS and PubMed indexed publications. It has published 1200+ books, completed 160+ research projects, and established 1500+ research collaborations.

The DMIMS University has received ₹50+ crore cumulative research funding from agencies like WHO, TIFAC, ICMR, DST, DBT and AYUSH. PhD programmes are offered across faculties including Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Engineering & Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Science & Technology, Commerce & Management, Physiotherapy, and Interdisciplinary Sciences, with scholarship facilities available for eligible candidates.
