What Are the Decision Options for Allotted Candidates?

The available choice depends on the candidate's earlier counselling status. First-time allotted candidates can choose between two options.

• Accept and Freeze: Confirm the current seat and skip further movement.
• Reject and Withdraw: Exit the counselling process without a seat.

Candidates previously marked as Accept and Upgrade or Reject and Upgrade now have only the Accept and Freeze option. They must report to the new college assigned in Round 4.

What Happens If a Candidate Fails to Report?

Skipping the reporting step carries a heavy financial penalty. Candidates who do not report by September 8 forfeit the counselling fee paid to COMEDK.

COMEDK may also impose a penalty of five times the annual tuition fee of the allotted seat. This rule applies to both first-time and upgraded allotments.
