The overall attendance for CLAT 2026 was 96.01%. Among the candidates who appeared, 57% were female, 43% were male, and 9 candidates identified as transgender.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the results for CLAT 2026, conducted on December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM across 156 test centres in 25 states and 4 union territories. The overall attendance for CLAT 2026 was 96.01%. Among the candidates who appeared, 57% were female, 43% were male, and 9 candidates identified as transgender.
The test duration was 120 minutes for most candidates, while PwD/SAP candidates entitled to compensatory time were given 160 minutes. For CLAT 2026 UG, there were five sections with 120 questions in total. One question was withdrawn in the provisional answer key, so the evaluation is based on 119 marks. The highest score in UG was 112.75.

The section-wise breakup of UG CLAT questions was: English Language: 24, Current Affairs including General Knowledge: 28Legal Reasoning: 30, Logical Reasoning: 26, Quantitative Techniques: 12.
The section-wise breakup of PG CLAT 2026
For CLAT 2026 PG, there was one section with 120 questions. One question was withdrawn, and the answer key for three questions was changed. The evaluation is now based on 119 marks. The highest score in PG was 104.25.
Scorecards can be downloaded from the official CLAT 2026 portal or the mirror site: consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Admissions for five-year integrated UG and PG programmes for the academic year 2026-27 will be based on CLAT 2026 scores. Counselling registration began on December 16, 2025, at 9 PM. The first allotment list is scheduled for January 7, 2026, and the fifth and final allotment list will be published on May 15, 2026.
Participating NLUs will conduct admissions based on CLAT 2026 scores. Candidates are advised to check the official portal for updates and complete all steps on time to secure admission in their preferred NLU.
