CLAT 2026 Counselling Registration Begins; Check Final Allotment List Scheduled @consortiumofnlus.ac.in

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has begun the counselling schedule for CLAT 2026 admissions. Registration for the counselling process began on December 16, 2025, at 9 pm and will continue until December 27, 2025. Candidates who qualified in the CLAT 2026 exam can now register for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes in NLUs for the academic year 2026.

The CLAT 2026 counselling registration fee is set at Rs 30,000 for general category candidates and Rs 20,000 for reserved categories. The first allotment list will be published on January 7, 2026, and candidates must pay their confirmation fees between January 7 and January 15, 2026. The second allotment list is scheduled for January 22, 2026, with payment due by January 29, 2026. The third allotment list will be published on February 5, 2026, and payment is due by February 12, 2026.

The fourth allotment list is set for May 2, 2026, with payment deadlines from May 2 to May 8, 2026. The fifth and final allotment list will be published on May 15, 2026, and candidates must pay their confirmation fees by May 20, 2026. The last date to pay the university fee for candidates who have chosen the 'Freeze' option in the fourth and fifth rounds is May 30, 2026.

All updates and notifications will be shared via email, SMS, and the CLAT portal. Candidates are advised to check their portals regularly and complete all steps on time to secure their admission in their preferred NLU.
