A total of 1285 candidates applied for admission through CENTAC this year, reflecting strong competition for postgraduate medical seats.

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), under the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has released the Final Merit List for NEET-PG Medical Courses (M.D. / M.S.) for the academic year 2025–2026 on 04 December 2025.

The final list has been published on the CENTAC website after reviewing and resolving all objections submitted by candidates regarding the Revised Draft Merit List.

The merit list has been prepared strictly based on the NEET-PG 2025 cut-off marks, ensuring transparency and adherence to national standards.

A total of 1285 candidates applied for admission through CENTAC this year, reflecting strong competition for postgraduate medical seats.

Out of this, 413 candidates applied under the Government Quota, with 383 candidates declared eligible and 30 candidates found ineligible either due to non-submission of documents or scoring below the required cut-off.

The Management Quota received 952 applications, out of which 928 candidates were eligible, while 24 candidates were marked ineligible for similar reasons, highlighting CENTAC’s strict scrutiny in the verification process.

The final merit list includes detailed category-wise lists covering SC, ST, BT, OBC, MBC, EBC, and BCM candidates, ensuring proper representation across reservation segments.

In addition, special category merit lists have been published for UT of Puducherry candidates, which include Meritorious Sportspersons, Persons with Disabilities, Freedom Fighters, and Ex-Servicemen, ensuring inclusiveness in the admissions framework.

Candidates can now check their verification status directly on their individual dashboards, enabling them to confirm the completeness and acceptance of their submitted applications.

CENTAC has also clarified that duplicate applications submitted by any candidate have been rejected, resulting in the cancellation of candidature.
