CEED 2026 Answer Key Out @ceed.iitb.ac.in; Check Dates & Cut-off Trends

The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026, conducted by the IIT Bombay, was successfully held on 18 January 2026 from 9 AM to 12 PM across exam centres nationwide. The entrance test, a key national-level design aptitude exam for admission into M.Des and PhD programs, saw participation from thousands of aspirants this year.

After the completion of the examination, candidates can now check the CEED 2026 answer key. According to the official schedule, the draft answer key for Part A was released on January 20, 2026. Now published, candidates can download the answer key from the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in, and cross-check their responses.

The authorities will also provide an opportunity to raise objections. Candidates who find any discrepancies in the draft answer key can upload their comments or challenges till January 22, 2026, 5:00 pm. After reviewing all the valid feedback received, IIT Bombay will publish the final answer key for Part A on January 28, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

CEED 2026 Cutoff

The CEED cut-off marks will be released on February 05, 2026, while the CEED 2026 result is scheduled to be announced on March 04, 2026. Candidates who qualify will be able to download their scorecards from March 10, 2026 to July 31, 2026.

• Part A cut-off is not the admission cut-off. The admission cutof is the minimum mark or rank required to get admission to the M.Des program
• The final merit list will be prepared based on Part B scores because it covers 75% of the total score calculation, Candidates had to qualify for Part A to be eligible for evaluation of Part B.

The Candidates need to know the relation between the marks obtained and the corresponding rank as it is important to get a seat in the desired institute.

A good score in CEED depends on the competition level and institute cutting. In general, a score of over 60 is considered to be competitive for IIT, while private institutions can accept lower scores.
