CAT 2024 form correction process has been started today i.e. September 27, 2024 from 10 am. The correction window is made open for students who want to make changes in their application form. The window will be open for three days only so candidates must make changes within the specified time. The CAT form correction window will be open till September 30, 2024. Candidates who have registered for the exam can make changes to the application form. Only certain fields like photograph, test city, and signature can be edited.
- No changes are permitted in the fields of name, DOB, email id, state, work experience and mobile number using the form correction facility for CAT.
- For making changes in other details, applicants need to contact CAT helpdesk- cathelpdesk@iimcat.co.in.
After the closure of the CAT 2024 Application Form Correction window, IIM will release the CAT Admit Card on November 5. Only those candidates who have correctly filled in their CAT 2024 application form will be able to download CAT Admit Card 2024 at iimcat.ac.in. The admit card will contain the details of the allotted CAT test centers and a Google Maps link. Candidates must make sure to utilize the CAT form correction facility (if needed) as no changes are entertained after the release of the hall ticket.
You must keep in mind the below-mentioned points while re-uploading the photo and signature during the CAT 2024 application form correction window:
- The photograph should be a recent one and not older than 6 months.
- The photograph should have a white or off-white background.
- Make sure you are not wearing a cap and sunglasses in the photograph.
- The head, face, and shoulders should be clearly visible in your recent photograph.
- Spectacles are allowed only if being regularly used.
- Polaroid photographs are not acceptable.
- Make sure that you upload the signature in running hand.
- Do not upload a signature in capital letters. The same will not be accepted under any circumstances.

During the form correction window for CAT 2024, you cannot edit details of work experience and academics (like wrong graduation marks, percentages, etc.). For any queries related to these errors, you can contact the CAT helpdesk.
Candidates will not be asked to make any additional fee payment for editing their application form. They are allowed to make any change to certain areas.

As per the official notification, apart from the signature, photograph, and test city, you cannot edit any other details including:
- Applicant’s Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- State
- Work experience
Candidates can re-upload the scanned copy of their passport-size photograph if the one uploaded before is not correct. The signature can be re-uploaded as per the guidelines specified by IIM. Candidates can change the test city preference during the CAT application form correction window. Recently, Imphal (Manipur) has been added as a new city for CAT 2024.
CAT form correction 2024 is a one-time activity and candidates cannot make changes more than once. CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024, and the test center will be allotted as per the preference selected in the application form. Therefore, candidates must choose the test city carefully so that they can visit the center easily on the exam date.
The CAT 2024 correction window is open only for registered candidates. Therefore, to make changes to the application form candidates need to log in to their accounts using user ID and password. Candidates need to click on the ‘Application Form’ option and edit it as per their needs. Enter the CAPTCHA code and click on ‘continue’ to complete the process.
Candidates can make the changes only through the official website i.e. https://iimcat.ac.in/. There is no other website that can be used for form correction.
