Describe your role of towards the institution.

My role towards the college is to work as the Dean of Students. My primary responsibility is to oversee student welfare in academic as well as non-academic realms. In non-academics, I have to ensure a supportive campus environment, addressing the problems faced by the students and resolving their concerns. I also supervise student leadership bodies and recommend activities for student progress. In our college, my ultimate goal is to promote student welfare and development while also making the students engaged in activities.

How do you solve the grievances of the students who are in need?

To address and resolve the grievances, we have established a student grievance redressal committee. Here students can submit their grievances through email at grievances@cttewc.edu.in or can be posted in a designated grievance box. Additionally, we are offering counselling and medication sessions to help resolve the issues. Students who need psychological counselling are referred to professional counsellors. Our primary goal is to make college life enriching and supportive for all students.

What are the activities available for students in non-academic side (counselling, health services)?

To enhance the overall campus experience, we provide extensive non-academic support through student-centric approaches. Following UGC guidelines, CTTE College supports a variety of dynamic units, including the Student Council, 24 clubs, five extension units, five cells, the Centre for Student Development (CFSD), the CTTE Skill Development Centre (CSDC), a Fine Arts Academy, and four houses. These groups act as essential bridges between the administration and the student body, driving community development in line with the education policies of 1968, 1986, and 2020.
