How does the placement and training department of ABHI institute support students in securing internships during their academic journey?
The internship is the responsibility of the college. We first give the students theory and practical classes and make them prepare for the industry by telling them about the real scenario. Then we gradually start sending them for exposure programs in different five-star hotels like Lila Palace, Hyatt, Regency and many other groups even Lodi Hotel. Through this process, they get acquainted with the ambience and the type of work they have to do. By the time their training internship comes, they are prepared for the industry.
How do you stay updated with job market trends and industry demand to enhance placement opportunities for students?
We stay updated with job market trends and industry demand to enhance placement opportunities. We keep in contact with the hotels, as they inform us whenever they have vacancies and job or internship opportunities. According to the demand, we communicate the information to the students and prepare for interviews.
How do you ensure that ABHI Institute graduates are well prepared with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the expectations of the employers?
Initially, we give them training, both theoretical and practical, in our college. Moreover, we also send them for exposure to different five-star hotels so that they are aware of what the industry wants from them and what is going on in the hotel industry. It thereby gets easy for them to crack interviews for jobs and there is always a requirement for our students. Our previous students who have been placed in five-star hotels are now working abroad in international chain hotels.

What are the strengths of ABHI institute that make it different from other institutes?
The student at ABHI Institute is never restricted by any type of exposure; rather, proper practical exposure is provided. We do not compromise with the quality of education that needs to be given and we maintain good relations with the HRs of hotels. We ensure that our students are always available for the work and are skilled enough to contribute their skills. No barrier has been put in place for any student to go for internships at any of the hotels. We are also a pocket-friendly college which makes us different from other Hotel Management institutes.
How does the college encourage students to engage in career development activities beyond just academic studies?
The life of a student at ABHI Institute is just not restricted to classroom learning and teaching about subjects related to Hotel Management but it is far beyond that. The students are not restricted to one department. Rather hotels call our students to work in different areas and allow them to build their skills in a way that shapes their personalities. This helps them learn and grow in various diversified areas. Thus, they are all prepared to work in all the departments, including the kitchen, front office, and HR. Various festivals, like cocktail and mango festivals, are also organized at our college.
How do you ensure that the training programs you design, align with the industry trends and meet the needs of the various employers?
As we are in association with various hotels and our faculties are also experienced, having worked in reputed organizations, the training that we provide is very influential and useful. We do not teach what is in the syllabus; rather we teach what is going on in the hotel industry and provide knowledge related to industry trends.
