Dr. Aravanan Periyasamy, working as a Professor and HOD at Sree Abirami College of Pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai affiliated College. He completed his doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Vels University, Pallavaram, Chennai. He completed his postgraduate diploma in computer applications. He has 24 years of professional experience. He started his career at Sri Ramachandra Medical University (SRU), Porur, Chennai. After 8 years of experience at SRU, he shifted to Andhra Pradesh, where he worked in reputed institutions as an Associate Professor and Professor for 5 years, Then he Worked as a Principal for 11 Years. He has published many research papers in various International and National Journals and contributed one book chapter. He has presented many papers in seminars and conferences, and he has guided more than 84 UG students and 12 PG students. He has three Indian patents and one German patent.

What made you decide to become a teacher?
My passion is I want to become a teacher so that I can make a real difference in children's lives. I take the task of developing youthful people into kind, thoughtful and contributing grownups seriously. I've always been so thankful to my preceptors and the educational system for making me the person that I am moment. All preceptors have their unique admixture of rates. It's this individuality that eventually makes a teacher special. A faculty with different moxies, including interpreters from the field, can give scholars with a well-rounded education.
How did you train yourself/faculty to deliver this program to the students?
Faculty members in drugstore programs are generally needed to have advanced degrees in Pharmacy. The bone, who's in the tutoring profession of Pharmacy, are completing their under graduation, post-graduation, and doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and numerous hold Pharm. D( Doctor of Pharmacy) degrees too. Faculty engage in nonstop literacy and professional development to stay streamlined on advancements in pharmaceutical Sciences, healthcare, and tutoring methodologies.
Training may concentrate on espousing pupil-centered approaches to tutoring, similar to problem-grounded literacy, case-grounded literacy, and other active literacy strategies that engage scholars in the literacy process. The UGC, AICTE, and Pharmacy Institutions provide Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and Skill development programs to modernize their knowledge and to get exposure to real-world scripts.
